I am a member of two writing groups…and one informal, witchy reading group. In fact, it is for this reading group (affectionately known as “the coven,” as our book selections tend to involve the theme of magic, more often than not) that I am reading Emily Croy Barker’s The Thinking Woman’s Guide to Real Magic.

I learned this evening that we are meeting next Wednesday at The Tudor Rose to eat scones piled high with cream & jam…and discuss the book. Given that I am 514 pages behind the other members of the group (distracted as I have been by Mariana) I think I better get reading!
