I was unexpectedly, and quite happily, whisked away to the movies tonight. Though the film was not a mystery, per se, I think it was in keeping with my new mystery lifestyle…certainly with the themes and settings that have always inspired my writing. The ironic thing is, I was going to spend part of the evening starting a new puzzle…instead I watched a movie about the man who cracked one of the ultimate puzzles, the Nazi Enigma Code.

The movie is, The Imitation Game, and my husband is right…it is right up my alley…WWII, England, Bletchley Circle, MI6, and Benedict Cumberbatch playing Alan Turing. For anyone interested, here is a preview…there are still a few days left to see it before the Oscars!
